Wath Academy alumni student, Amelia, graduated from Leeds Becket University with a BA in Dance Performance. Alongside her academic studies, Amelia has continued to train at her independent Dance School, where she has now gained DDE teacher status in ISTD Modern and Tap. Amelia aspires to be a Professional Dance and Aerial specialist for a top international cruise line. During her time at Wath, Amelia was a committed student both within Dance and the wider school community. She was always heavily involved in our extracurricular programmes taking the lead in the development several performance and competition pieces. We are lucky to say that Amelia will be back in working with the Dance Department over the next academic year, sharing her professional experiences and delivering workshops to our scholarship students.
