OFSTED
We are extremely proud of the progress we have made at the Academy from the last Section 5 inspection in 2017. Since then we have academised to become Wath Academy, joined Maltby Learning Trust and worked through a global pandemic, to receive such an excellent report is testimony to the hard work of both staff and students.
The breakdown of the gradings is as follows:

The Academy have been given an Overall Effectiveness grade of Good.

- Overall Progress 8 (0.39) was significantly above national average.
- The EBacc entry rate in this school in 2023 was 18% with an average attainment of 14.1 across the slots (National average 13.4, Local Authority Average 11.9)
- 49.3% of students achieved a strong pass (grade 5 or above) in English and maths
- In Maths, average attainment was 9.8 (National Average 9.1, Local Authority Average 8.5). The subject progress was +0.35
