I began learning the flute at eight years old and have been involved in peripatetic flute lessons with Rotherham Music Services. My musical journey continued and flourished at Wath Academy through studying GCSE and A Level music. I am now in my fourth year of undergraduate study at the Royal Welsh College of Music and Drama, where I am studying performance in classical and historical flute. I have had amazing experiences whilst at the conservatoire, including performing with the College Symphony Orchestra in Cardiff’s St David’s Hall. I am looking forward to continuing my studies in historical music performance after graduating and developing my interest and skills playing the Baroque flute.
